About the Columbus Humane Society

Founded in 1883, the Columbus Humane Society is dedicated to fighting against animal cruelty, advocating for the well-being of animals, and helping animals in need. This effort is made possible by more than 450 people dedicating nearly 35,000 hours per year to taking care of animals. A caring team of staff and volunteers are responsible for providing love and support to animals that need it the most. Providing adoption, health, and activism services to the local community – Columbus Humane is dedicated to protecting animals.
