Jaguar EliteCare – Coverage & Benefits
Getting a new vehicle is exciting, especially when we’re talking about the kinds of exciting luxury performance vehicles produced by Jaguar. But maintenance for that new vehicle can be anxiety-inducing. That’s why Jaguar introduced Jaguar EliteCare, a program that helps you take care of your vehicle so that you can focus on the exciting parts of owning a new Jaguar vehicle. But it’s still important to know what the program entails, so we put together a guide to the benefits.
What is Jaguar EliteCare?
The simple answer here is that Jaguar EliteCare is an exceptionally thorough warranty, with 5 years or 60,000 miles of coverage. But there’s more to it than that, this doesn’t just allow you to get no-charge warranty repairs, although this is obviously included as well. There are several other excellent benefits that come with it, read on to see what they are.
Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance
The best way to ensure that you never need any major repairs in the first place is to be sure to follow the maintenance schedule laid out in the owner’s manual. Jaguar EliteCare makes this incredibly easy, as complimentary maintenance is included for the entire 5-year/60,000-mile period. The schedule for this is outlined in your Passport to Service, and only scheduled maintenance is covered.
Complimentary 24/7 Roadside Assistance
Even with excellent maintenance, the unexpected can happen, and for that, Jaguar EliteCare comes with complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance. Your vehicle will be taken to the nearest authorized Jaguar Retailer. If it can’t be repaired quickly, we will help you organize and pay for alternative means of travel, and if you’re more than 50 miles from home, this may include a complimentary hotel room. You just need to call 1-800-4-JAGUAR (1 (800) 452-4827) for assistance.
Jaguar InControl
Connected features allow you to get so much more out of your vehicle, with things like remote start, streaming music, and navigation all greatly improving the quality of the time spent in your vehicle. InControl gives you access to these connected features, allowing you to enjoy streaming music through your incredible Meridian sound system, or connect remotely to your car via your phone, for location and security purposes.
Additional Battery Warranty
For those who opt for the all-electric Jaguar I-PACE, there is an additional component to the warranty, and that is the battery. The battery warranty is much longer, 8 years/100,000 miles, for that extra piece of mind. Should the batteries state of health drop below 70 percent during that time period, the replacement will be covered by the warranty.
